Statements include an itemized list of every donation and store order for the year, the tax-deductible total, your organization's name and EIN, and the legal language donors need for their tax filings. It's the complete receipt — no follow-up questions, no "can you resend that?" emails in April.

Preview before you send
Before any emails go out, Lattia shows you a full preview: how many donors will receive a statement, total donations, total orders, and total tax-deductible amount for the selected year. You'll also see a sample list of the first five recipients so you can gut-check the data before committing.
Not sure how it'll look in a donor's inbox? Send a test email to yourself first. The test uses real data from a sample donor so you see exactly what your supporters will receive — formatting, itemized transactions, totals, and all.
Safety first: The "Send to All Donors" button stays disabled until the preview loads and confirms there are recipients. No accidental sends to an empty list.
What donors receive
Each donor gets a professionally formatted HTML email branded with your organization's logo and name. The statement includes a contribution summary box with their total donations, total purchases, and total tax-deductible amount — followed by a full itemized transaction table showing every gift: date, description, amount, and deductible value.
Donations are listed with their fund designation if one was selected. Store orders show the order number, items purchased, and the deductible portion. At the bottom, donors see the standard IRS disclosure language confirming that no goods or services were provided in exchange for donations (or noting fair market value for orders), along with your EIN.
The email is fully responsive — it reads well on desktop and mobile — and includes your organization's contact information so donors know exactly who to reach if they have questions.
Batch history and tracking
Every batch you send is logged with the tax year, date sent, number of recipients, and total deductible amount. You can see your complete sending history at a glance — useful for confirming that statements went out, or for board reporting at the end of the year.
Built on real transaction data
Year-end statements pull directly from your actual donation and order records. There's no separate data entry, no importing from another system, and no risk of totals not matching. If a donor gave three times and bought two items from your store, their statement reflects all five transactions automatically. Preferred donor names carry through too — if you've pinned "Bob" as the preferred name for a donor who gives as "Robert," the statement addresses Bob.
