Build emails without a designer

Lattia's email builder uses a section-based approach — add content blocks, arrange them in order, and style each one. It's built on Summernote, so you get a familiar rich text editing experience without the complexity of drag-and-drop builders that need a design degree. Each section is its own content block with formatting, images, and links.

Emails are single-column by design, which means they render consistently across every email client — Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Yahoo, and mobile. No broken layouts, no columns collapsing on phones. What you build is what your supporters see.

Send from your own domain

Set up a custom sending domain so your emails come from an address your supporters recognize — like updates@lm.yourorg.com. Lattia handles SES registration and walks you through the DNS records (DKIM verification) so your emails land in the inbox, not the spam folder.

Audience targeting

When you're ready to send, choose your audience. Send to all active email subscribers, to a specific contact list you've imported, or to donors from a particular donation page. The recipient picker shows you exactly how many people will receive the email before you hit send.

Suppressed and unsubscribed addresses are automatically excluded from every send — you don't need to remember to filter them out manually. Lattia handles list hygiene behind the scenes.

CAN-SPAM compliance built in

Every email sent through Lattia automatically includes your organization's physical mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe link — both required by federal law. Unsubscribe requests are processed instantly, and the address is permanently suppressed from future sends.

Delivery tracking and analytics

After you send, track what happens. Lattia records deliveries, opens, clicks, and bounces for every campaign via Mailgun webhooks. Click-level analytics show which links your supporters are engaging with, so you can refine your messaging over time. Every email also has a public web view link so recipients can open it in a browser if their email client doesn't render it properly.

Prerequisites that protect your reputation

Before you can send your first email, Lattia requires two things: a verified custom sending domain (with DNS records confirmed) and a connected Stripe account. This isn't arbitrary gatekeeping — it ensures every organization sending email through the platform has verified domain ownership and a real payment relationship, which protects deliverability for everyone on the platform.
